The Shurm Family Trust

Wilton and Helen Shurm were married in 1957, and by that time they had each already begun their respective careers in real estate investment. Wilton spent years as a contractor, and Helen was the first female sales agent hired by her broker in 1947.

Together they embarked on a lifetime of real estate investment, accumulating a portfolio of some [60] single family home and other rental properties. Upon Wilton’s death in 1997, a significant portion of the portfolio was placed in Trust, and his daughter, Brenda S. Dolan, was named the Trustee.

Under the direction and guidance of Ms. Dolan, the Trust has grown to include apartments, timeshares and other investment vehicles. It continues to expand, acquiring quality, affordable rental units for the discerning tenant.
